I was a Preschool Teacher a Rachel's Learning Center for two years. I gained a lot of experience being a teacher aid and becoming a teacher in my own classroom. I am currently not employed anymore because I am a full time student at NLU to farther my career for my bachelors in ECE. I have a passion in teaching early childhood education to teach students the best i can because they are the future. I have experience using the creative curriculum, and in the process learning about different technology to use in the classroom such as twitter, pic collage,smore, word cloud, and blabbersze.
Before becoming a preschool teacher I have done all my student teaching from Waubonsee community college at two different elementary schools and one day care center. i speak English language only. Also i have done volunteer work since high school in 2008-2016 at many organizations and in school.

I was in charge of helping wash pumpkins to put them out for children to paint. I also got my own table of activity craft for children.

I was in charge of sitting up,getting the book bags tied and passing out and organizing the children book area.
I also was in charge of games from ages 3-12 yrs old balloon rocket car activity, where children had to put car,straw, and balloon together and have a race to see which balloon blew out the fastest.
Another activity was a science one called measuring wind with your own wind meter. Children had to put together there own anemometer using cups, straws, pencils and pins.
The last activity was throw 6 balls into the inflatable rubber ducky holes and win a prize.

I was volunteering for National-Louis University table. We setup the crafts for kids and information about our university. I helped children decorate there foam pumpkin using leaf stickers and also helped with putting together foam sticker bats, candy corn, pumpkin, witches hat, and ghost.

Ballroom Setup & Dining Room Greeter Description
Prior to the event starting, Navy Pier staff will set up the ballroom, but we need volunteers to help with the process. You will be placing program booklets and live auction booklets on chairs. Each chair will need one of each! Volunteers will then transition to helping guests find their tables as they enter the dining room.
